Very tempted by the CAT phone, although.... 16GB RAM is teeeeeny. I use my phone all te time for listening to MP3s and podcasts, and generally have around 80GB of those stored at any one time. I see it takes Micro SD, but have historically had problems getting them to play nicely with Android apps... don't suppose this is something you've tried?
Oh really? I have not tried an SD card with the π, but I never had any problems with my other Android phones. I use VLC to play music. I haven't yet tried to do that on the π, but I'll keep you updated! Otherwise - dooooooooooooo iittttttttttttttt. It's brilliant.
Yeah, my stuff takes up so more space than just music - I have probably a few thousand hours of audiobooks etc, and I like to keep as many on there as possible, because what I want to listen to varies hugely with my mood.
