We Meat Again!
Happy (Is it still? Yes!) Friday!
Slightly later than advertised, but I'm sure you will forgive me. I had to take the evening off to watch Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I never had a TV growing up - I started young on these positive constraints - so missed the whole of the 80s (and most of the 90s for that matter). Never mind, I'm here now! Next week, I find out who "Star Wars" is and why nobody wants a Maggie Thatcher.
But before all that - here's another of my positive constraints revisited. This time it's an update on my experiment with No Meat.
Spoiler Alert I: Ferris gets away with it. (Thanks to Charlie Sheen?)
Spoiler Alert II: I now eat meat.
Thanks for reading! Now what?
After bed, you mean? Next week, co-writer Beth and I are heading down to Tonypandy in the Welsh Valleys to research and write our four episodes of Foiled for the Beeb.
In preparation, I'm learning Welsh using Duolingo (Join Me!) - flatly ignoring the fact that nobody speaks Welsh in that part of the world.
Good luck in all your endeavours, whatever they might be. Keep showing up and doing what you do - even if that means typing out an email to friends at 23:37 on Friday night!
Nos da!
